Meet Hannah Puckett - USCG Captain, Creative, Oyster Guide
Hannah is the owner and founder of Nautiste, a business idea borne to share and celebrate the art of gathering fabulously on the water.
Hannah is a self-professed ‘tidepool kid’ who grew up on naval bases around the Pacific, but it wasn’t until she was 25 that Hannah found her ‘sea’ legs and the inspiration to pursue la vie nautique.
At a women’s sailing clinic in Austin, TX, she learned to race J-boats captained and crewed by a tight-knit group of adventuring women. Inspired by the excitement, the skill, the calm, and the company, in 2017 Hannah decided to take her career offshore to see the world by sail.
Between crewing yacht deliveries around the Caribbean and cruising the North American Atlantic on a 42’ racer-cruiser sloop, Hannah amassed more than 15,000 nautical miles of sea-time in 6 years, and gained a lifelong appreciation for the intimate moments shared over meals on the water.
Returning to DC for the first time since infancy in 2023, it’s Hannah’s joy to share her nautical joie de vivre with intimate groups and hosts seeking a peerless on-the-water experience.
